Fiddlestix the Awoken
Machines of war once rumbled across the landscape pushing technology to the limit. An archaeological find in Southmarch unearthed instructions to breathe life into inanimate objects by capturing lightning. Consequently, Chalfin Westbot, a dwarf building mechanical copper dragons, changed Arcania forever atop the Citadel of Unity.
Intended as war machines, these dragons could not be controlled by their human handlers once they were given life. They inevitably learned to improve upon the designs of past generations and may even have discovered immortality.
